I’m Luana from the Empowerment team here at ProZ.com, and I’m really happy to share that we’re currently organizing a virtual conference dedicated entirely to interpreters!

As the program is currently under creation, I’d love to hear directly from you—the interpreting community.

What themes or topics would you like to see covered? Are there any challenges you’re currently facing in your work, skills you’d like to develop, or conversations you think the interpreting community needs to have?

As a new interpreter, I would love to hear about practical ways to build confidence, especially in unfamiliar sectors. I’m both new to interpreting and new to the health industry.

I’m finally past the stage fright of the first bookings, but I’m nowhere close to where I want to be, though I know I’ll be there with time.
